Media

Media activities are handled at both State and national level. National media activities include national promotion of orienteering, National Orienteering Day (the first Sunday of May), the National Orienteering League and the participation of Australians in International competitions.

In April 2001, orienteering featured on ABC Radio National’s "The Sports Factor". Both audio and transcripts of the programme are available from The Sports Factor webpage.
