      Mountain Bike Level 1 Coaching Courses

      Level 1 Mountain Bike Coaching Course 2011 - Victoria

      Cycling Australia’s Coach Education Department, in association with Mountain Bike Australia, would like to inform all coaches that there will be NCAS Level 1 Mountain Bike Coaching Courses delivered in Victoria in June and Queensland in July.
      These mountain bike specific coaching courses are two days in duration to allow for appropriate learning and knowledge opportunities for coaches, more practical elements and more face-to-face time between coach attendees and course presenters.

      Coaching Course Details

      • Dates: Saturday 18th & Sunday 19th June 2011 (2 days)
      • Time: 9am-6pm daily
      • Venue: DISC (Darebin International Sports Centre), 281 Darebin Road,  Thornbury, VIC 3071
      • Cost: $330 (incl. GST) per person - This is the reduced Training Program cost, subsidised by Cycling Australia, and available only to Cycling Australia and Mountain Bike Australia members.
      • Travel / Accommodation: Please note that coaches will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation.

      Closing Date for Applications: Friday 13th May, 2011

       

      Pre-requisites & Pathway to attend a Level 1 Mountain Bike Coaching Course

      • Current First Aid Certification
      • Member of Mountain Bike Australia (MTBA) or Cycling Australia (CA)
      • Must be at least an accredited CycleSkill Coach
